Top 5 Film & Television Apps Performance in Ukraine Q1 2022

In the first quarter of 2022, the top five film and television applications in Ukraine demonstrated diverse performance trends across downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a detailed look at their metrics based on data from Sensor Tower.

SWEET.TV - TV and movies from VAN Group saw notable fluctuations in its weekly downloads, which started at around 116K and gradually decreased to approximately 19K by the end of March. The app's revenue peaked at $20.2K in the last week of February, while weekly active users showed a downward trend from 224K at the beginning of January to about 99K by the end of the quarter.

MEGOGO: Live TV & movies maintained strong revenue figures, starting off with $104K and peaking at $129K in the last week of February. Downloads experienced significant growth late in the quarter, reaching 66.6K in the last week of February. Active users also increased from 195K at the beginning of January to a peak of 264K in mid-March.

Kyivstar TV: HD movie, cartoon had a steady increase in downloads, peaking at 55.6K in the week of March 21. Active users showed a similar upward trend, starting at 109K in late December and reaching 142K by the end of March.

Rave – Watch Party from Rave Inc. saw a dramatic increase in downloads, peaking at 53K in the last week of January. Active users also saw a significant rise, starting from 953 at the end of December to about 79K by the first week of March.

Netflix experienced steady weekly downloads, ranging from 12K to 21K throughout the quarter. Revenue peaked at $623 in mid-February, while active users remained relatively stable, starting at 210K and ending the quarter at around 171K.
